Material Specification

Body and Base: Fine hard porcelain (composition: kaolin, quartz, feldspar), characterized by a high degree of whiteness (over 80% light reflection coefficient) and exceptional resistance to mechanical and thermal damage.
Glaze: Transparent lead-free glaze, fired at 1380°C – 1410°C, ensuring a perfectly smooth surface and high resistance to the absorption of
colors (e.g., tannins contained in coffee).

Decoration technique

Painting (Landscape): A high-resolution overglaze printing technique
(ceramic decalcomania) was used, with oxide pigments. This process allows
for the reproduction of microscopic details of a dynamic figural scene while maintaining the color depth
of classic oil painting.
Gilding: Details on the edges of the cup and the sloping surfaces of the saucer are made
with high-purity liquid gold. The gold is applied by hand and fixed in
a third firing process (known as decorative firing) at a temperature of approx. 800°C.
Texture: The bottom of the cup (foot) has relief grooves of a geometric-organic nature,
improving the stability of the vessel in the saucer holder.

FUCK THE FARM

A giant blue concrete middle finger, boldly represents the polish youth’s opposition to traditional farming. It symbolizes breaking away from the „family home” — marking the end of blindly taking over farms and the tough labor in the fields.
